Following an active youth including artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, and volleyball, Bailey Eng's current movement practices stem from contemporary dance, breaking, parkour, contortion, and Chinese pole.
She graduated from Concordia University with a BFA in Contemporary Dance, after having studied at L’Ecole Nationale de Cirque and York University. She has done several performances that have allowed her to incorporate dance, circus, and parkour, including works with Andréane Leclerc (Nadère Arts Vivants), Ismaël Mouaraki (Destins Croisés), Jeff Hall, Mikaël Xystra Montminy (Compagnie WXWS), La Marche du Crabe, and Les Minutes Complètement Cirque.
She has had her work presented at Tangente as part of Danses Buissonnières (Look, 2017), at Studio 303 as part of Remix CanDance Creative Exchange (Disintegration, Original: 2016, and Remixed version by Sarah Joy Stoker: 2017) and in Toronto at Dance Matters (WithIn and WithOut, 2018).
In addition to performance and choreography, she also coaches acrobatics and dance.
