Dana Raffoul

Born and raised in Montreal, Dana has been dancing for 17 years. She has trained in both Canada and the USA in various styles such as hip hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet/pointe, and tap. Growing up, she participated in many conventions and competitions where she won scholarships and took part in showcases choreographed by talented choreographers like Blake McGrath as well as Tabitha and Napolean D’umo. At age 16, Dana toured across the USA with the “Tremaine Performance Company” where she assisted classes taught by sought after choreographers like Tony Bellissimo, Derrick Schrader, and Keri LaGrand. More recently, Dana has performed at Montreal’s “We Day” and toured across the province as a dancer for the “Famous Live Band.” She has also performed as a back up-dancer for Canadian singer/songwriter Anjulie, and participated in music videos such as “This Love” by Young Avz and “Missunderstood” by Sammie Libman. As a choreographer, Dana was awarded with four choreography awards within the past two competitive dance seasons. As a teacher, Dana focuses on providing her students with proper technique, but also emphasizes the importance of performance, artistic expression, and individuality.
