Sarah Steben is a dancer/choreographer and instructor born and raised in Montreal, QC. At the age of 15 years old she fell in love with the hip hop culture and started attending BBOY events in Montreal simply to admire the talent on stage. She finally decided to start taking classes herself and the rest is history. She won the bronze medal at the world hip hop championships at 16 years old and since then has travelled to Germany, London, New York, San Francisco and many more places to compete and teach. She was a part of the renowned Monsters of Hip Hop show in Los Angeles, studied commercial dance under the direction of celebrity choreographer Rhapsody James (Motivating Excellence) and now is a part of her hybrid dance company in LA called RED (Rhapsody En Dance). She has worked with Moment Factory, Cirque du Soleil, Escapade Music Festival, World of Dance and many more. She also has made several TV appearances including La Voix Junior and So You Think You Can Dance Canada. Many people know Sarah as a teacher to hundreds of students each year and has performed with the cast of Saturday Night Fever in Quebec and Montreal in over 100 shows.
